Lewd Wedding

I looked at a lot of wedding options before I decided I wanted to have a themed wedding and reception. So, now all that was left was to do was decide what theme sounded like the one I’d like to have. The country western theme seemed like it would be lots of fun. I even considered having a barn dance for our reception party. A beach wedding sounded nice for our summer wedding. We could swim, party on the beach and enjoy a lovely sunset. There were a lot of themed weddings and receptions to consider. There were all kinds of accessories and supplies for themed weddings, from decorations to a astonishing wedding server. Even though I found a lot of themed wedding ideas I liked, I chose the fantastic looking fairytale theme.

Now it was time to look for the fairytale themed accessories and supplies I needed for the theme I chose. Of course the very first thing to do is get the invitations for our friends and family. After that I went on to the wedding décor and the other accessories I would need. I wanted a wedding fit for Cinderella. The decorations for the church were the first thing I wanted to get. We used satin bows on the end of each pew row and draped a tulle swag from row to row. Our unity candle had tapered candles in storybook holders on each side of our storybook unity candle, and several flowers in vases placed around the altar.

As our guests entered the church they signed their names in our fairytale themed guestbook, which was absolutely gorgeous. This was the most beautiful storybook wedding ceremony I could have ever wished for. The flower girl and ring boy did a wonderful job at the wedding ceremony and really looked elegant in their wedding attire. After the ceremony we didn’t leave in a limo, we left the church in a horse drawn carriage the same way Cinderella and Prince Charming did in the fairytale.

With flowers everywhere and crystal and silver shining on the tables the entire reception hall was so elegant. Crystal champagne flutes with stems decorated with a fairytale design was placed on all the tables. Little castle place card holders were placed at every guests table. I also got the idea to purchase little carriage favor boxes and fill them with candies for each guest at their tables.

Even though all of our reception tables were gorgeous, our wedding table was the most breathtaking. It had all the elegance of a king and queen. At the end of our wedding table, was the wedding cake table, with our beautiful five tier cake and gorgeous storybook topper. I found the most exquisite storybook wedding cake topper for our reception at the same place I bought all our other reception supplies. There was even a storybook wedding knife with remarkable designs on the handle. I wanted the complete wedding knife set instead of just a plain knife because I wanted it to be special. Our wedding cake and topper were complimented by the lovely knife set next to it.

As soon as the bridal toast and the best man’s speech was over, my husband and I had our first dance as husband and wife. Our favorite song is by all for one and is “ I Swear” and that’s the one we danced to. Once we were done with our wedding dance, the other couples joined us on the dance floor. With all the photos that were taken, my storybook wedding album will be filled with memories in no time. Just before we left for our honeymoon, some of the guests thanked us for the lovely fairytale wedding favors we gave them.

With the ceremony and reception party turning out as great as it did, I know you can have your favorite fairytale come true.

   I never thought of a serving set being available in so many different styles and themes. I guess I thought they all looked a like, maybe some more fancier than others, but I never thought about them coming in so many themes. I’m having a beach wedding and there are a lot of beach themed accessories and supplies I found that are more than perfect for my ceremony and reception.

   Our wedding invitations were so elegant with pearlized starfish and beautiful printing telling all about our beautiful beach wedding and reception. I found so many items that were perfect for our oceanside ceremony and beach party. My whole reception had beach themed items from our lovely beach cake topper with the beachcomber bride and groom, to the lovely little tealights that lined all the reception tables. We had champagne flutes with stems that were sand colored with tiny little seashells decoratively wrapped around them, gorgeous centerpieces and beach themed placecard holders that also served as little picture frames with a seashell design. They were really quite lovely, I even ordered a couple of them for myself.

   Everything at our reception was decorated especially for a beautiful ocean side wedding. I was pretty sure I could find a lot of beach themed accessories and decorations, since beach weddings have become so popular these days. But I must admit I was surprised to find wedding cake serving sets that were so perfect for this type of reception.

   I was sure getting married by the water would be wonderfully romantic, but I had no idea just how much. Standing under the beautiful satin canopy, speaking our vows, with the blue of the ocean in the background was more than any bride could hope for. The pictures that the photographer took were fantastic, but they could never do it justice. It was a breath taking scene that will stay in my memory forever.

   After the ceremony we cut our beautiful cake with our gorgeous wedding cake serving set, and everyone toasted the bride and groom.  Then the real party began. We had our bride and grooms first dance right there on the beach, barefoot in the warm sand, with the waves crashing behind us. It was so romantic. After a while, everyone was kicking off their sandles and flip flops and joined us on our sandy dance floor. We had such a great time dancing, laughing and even singing songs at a couple of bonfires we had going. I just knew this was a wedding reception no one would forget.

   As wedding favors we gave out gorgeous little crystal sailboats as thank you gifts and keepsakes of our beach themed wedding and reception. I kept one of those for myself too. A girl has to have mementos of such an important occasion, and I have lots of them for my memory box. I started with one of our beach invitations, some of the accessories for our tables and now one of the wedding favors. I intend to have lots of memories of my special day to look at whenever I want.

   We had a more than fantastic honeymoon too. We went to Dublin, Ireland where my husbands ancestors are from. Talk about one of the most beautiful places on earth, this is it. What gorgeous countryside, and the people are so friendly. We had a wonderful week in the land of the leprechuans, but now that we’re back I have to find another big box for all the souvenirs I have from our honeymoon. What can I say, I’m a pack rat.
