Gorgeous photo wedding book!

We go through a lot of days that we’d like to remember forever in our lifetimes. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more ocassions you want to hang on to the memories of. I keep these memories alive with my astonishing memory books, which are some of my most treasured possessions. I have one remarkable photo wedding book devoted to the bridal shower my sister put on for me with some of my friends. It was a fantastic night, and there are plenty of photographs to prove it. The pretty things they had arranged at the party and the exciting places we went to, that evening, were all caught on film. The camera doesn’t lie: we had a blast. We went to a spot where there were male dancers and snapped a few photos there. They were really awesome up there on the stage. That is definitely a night I’ll never forget, that was the first and only time I’ve ever been to a place that had male dancers. They may not be as famous as the Chippendale dancers, but these were more than entertaining, that’s for sure.
I got a wedding memory book along with everything else I was buying when I was preparing for our wedding. We had no shortage of pictures to put in it. In fact I knew to buy a couple of them, so I’d have enough space for all the pictures. Even after filling our wedding photo album with pictures there were still many photos left to find places for. One album had a space for our wedding guests to write their names in it. We had my first initial and my husband’s first initial flanking the initial of our last name on the cover of our personalized memory books. The fabric on the book is very pretty, and with that and the satin ribbon on them, they really are quite charming. We had to get more pages for them, and they offer a supply for that too.
I made sure that I had books to hold all my memories of every important event in my life so far. The number of keepsake memory books I have will only go up since I hang on to them all. Baby shower books, a wedding book, and the one from that bachelorette party are the ones that I have currently. I have a little girl that’s turning three next week and a little baby boy that is only one year old. My son has a blue book and my daughter has a pink one; we got the right colors because we found out what they’d be before they were born. All of their momentous occasions are recorded in there, such as their first steps and baptisms. The baby memory books have pictures, handprints, and birth certificates stored there, too. I also put an invitation in the shower books and wedding photo book too. There are picture galleries with fewer photos than I have in my closet.
In spite of my husband’s frequent grumbling, I will keep those albums in my closet, because they are mementos of days that were special to me. But all that is about to change soon, because I’m clearing a couple of shelves in the family room for all the home movies that I’ll be recording on the new camcorder I just bought. With all the videos I plan to record and all the picture albums and memory books I’ve acquired, not to mention all that I intend to aquire, I’ll probably have to make more room in other closets around the house. Well, a person needs to be able to go back in time every now and then, that’s just a part of who I am. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.

Memory Books Can Mean An Awful Lot

After the kids are grown and out on their own with families of their own, wouldn’t it be nice to have a way to store all the fond memories you have of them growing up? The day you brought them home from the hospital, that first tooth, the kindergarten graduation, all these moments and many more are memories you want to hold on to.  That’s why memory books are so great. They make wonderful baby and wedding shower gifts too. There is all different styles and types of books for almost any important occasion, and the great part is you can also order refills if you need to add more pages.

There are memory guest books for parties and wedding showers that are absolutely exquisite in design. When I had my baby showers I kept all the beautiful books that was given to me. I have a pink memory book from the shower for my first born, and two blue ones from the birth of my sons. Their names and date of births are written on the front. It has a list of all the names of the people that attended the showers and what gifts they gave the babies. I’ve also recorded so many important memories in these books and every once in a while I take them out and just go through them and remember all the wonderful things I shared with my little ones. Baby memory books are something every mother should have. They can give you years of enjoyment.

I also have books from my wedding shower and wedding reception. All the girls that attended my shower is listed in one of these pages. Every shower gift I got is also recorded in there along with every memorable moment of my party.  The one I got for my wedding reception had a lovely ivory satin covering on it with a attractive love knot made with satin ribbon. I know there are many different styles you can buy, from sophisticated and elegant to themed books, like Celtic, western and even memory books for seasonal weddings.

I know how much my books mean to me, so when my sister had her bridal shower I bought her a beautiful brocade monogrammed book, with over 200 pages for her to fill in. I had so many to choose from to buy for her, that it was a hard decision to make. I almost bought one with Italian lace on the cover, but I really fell in love with the brocade and I liked the fact that I could get it with her initials embroidered in. Since I had decided to buy this wedding book, I figured I might as well get a head start on her baby shower, I’m sure she’ll have one someday. So, I checked out all the baby books too, and found some adorable choices to pick from. Since this occasion is far into the future, there’s no way of knowing if she will have a girl or boy, I decided to buy one of each. I know that sounds a little crazy and slightly premature, but I couldn’t resist them. They are so adorable, and I wanted to make sure that when the time comes, I’m prepared. Besides, if she only has one child, I’m sure I can find someone who’s having a baby that I can give it to as a gift.

So, remember if you are looking for something to give a mother to be or a bride to be, baby and wedding memory books make great gifts.
