My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. A wedding built around snow and ice can be wonderful, and there are plenty of items you can obtain to make it happen. The artwork on the serving set for our cake, that I purchased over the Internet, also had a winter look to it. Small snowflakes in shades of blue and white were on the handles. For the special toasting flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. We got our flower girl a necklace and we we let her keep the small crown she wore in the ceremony, and she was pleased with both of them. The ring boy thought the ring bearer tee shirt and stainless steel yoyo was pretty cool. For my bridesmaids I chose tank tops with bridesmaid written across in in crystals and for my maid of honor I picked out a maid of honor shirt and a crystal bracelet. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from.
