Beautiful Mikasa Favors!

The wedding I went to last week was all set up with gorgeous mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. They had mikasa crystals and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. The bride really has excellent taste in wedding décor and knows how to set an exquisite table. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
They had lovely little place card holders that were the cutest silver doves, with bride and groom placecards on their tails. Her centerpieces were quite lovely too and really helped to bring out the ambience of all the accessories she had decorated the tables with. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. Their choice of wedding favors were something to acknowledge too. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. They chose lovely little gift boxes with hang tags that said thank you to package our gorgeous mikasa crystal favors in.
Deep chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese topping each of the five layers with the fantastic wedding cake they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. Since she ordered most of her wedding supplies and decorations from an online wedding store, she decided to check out the cake toppers too, and found out they customize wedding cake toppers. The bride and groom on the cake topper look just like the wedding couple and they did this with only a couple head shot photos of the bride to be and her fiance. It was absolutely perfect. I was determined to find out what the name of her online wedding store was so I could have them make up a cake topper like that for my mom and dads’ anniversary wedding.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the bride gave up her garter for the toss. All those single men gathered together with a growing excitement while they watched the groom remove the leg garter from his bride. All of them were reaching and pushing into each other with the sole objective of being the one to take home the brides garter. The funniest part though, is that the winner of the garter toss was a widower in his 70’s that didn’t even want to participate in the toss. There was a big smile on the old mans face as he walked off with the garter in his hand.
To toast the bride and groom we were given champagne flutes that had the bride and grooms name printed on them with the date of the wedding ceremony, and we got to take these home as keepsakes of the celebration. As soon as the toast was finished, the happy couple took to the dance floor for the traditional bride and grooms first dance. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. I found out from one of the other guests that they were going to Hawaii for their honeymoon. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. We all stay for quite a while after the bride and groom left and partied ourselves into exhaustion.
It was only a couple of weeks later that I got my thank you card from the happy couple thanking me for sharing their wedding day with them and for the wedding gift I bought for them. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. I did manage to get the information on the website that she ordered everything for the mikasa wedding favor from and the unique wedding cake topper too. In fact, I’m getting ready to place my order right now for my mom and dad’s anniversary wedding.
