Selecting keepsake gifts
I decided that the day I got married was going to be a memorable day for everyone that was close to me. The presents and favors I got everyone were things that could be treasured for a lifetime. I wanted them to have something that will help them remember what a great time they had at our reception and how beautiful our ceremony was. I began by selecting keepsake gifts and moved on to things like a astonishing keepsake wedding gift. On all of my reception tables were floral centerpieces I had made up at the florist and gorgeous floral scented candles that looked as if they were covered in lace and came with a pretty little ceramic holder. I found those online along with the place card holders that were really exceptional too.
I elected to get place card holders with lovely beads on them that doubled as picture frames for everyone to take with them. I made up my mind that the people at my wedding woud get practical favors that, afterwards, would be remarkable personalized keepsake gifts. Giving out favors that have no practical purpose always struck me as a useless thing to do. Those kind of party favors just end up in the trash or sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. I wanted our friends and family to have something they will hang on to and remember sharing our special day with us every time they use it. Since almost everyone drinks coffee or tea, I got all of the people at our reception a bistro coffee mug. They are very decorative and a coffee mug is something everyone can use. They came in their own little packages, so I didn’t have to worry about finding favor boxes, I just ordered some festive hang tags to put on each one.
Reception supplies and accessories were easy to find on the world wide web. One super item we picked out was our wedding cake topper. I opted to pick out one that would be significant to my groom and I.
Playing football in a friend’s yard is what we were doing the first time we met.
