Great Groomsmen Gift Ideas!

May 26th, 2009 Lewd No comments

With all the things you need to buy to have the perfect wedding, don’t over look groomsmen gifts. The inportance of  groomsman gifts should be at the top of your list, not only are you giving a gift for someone who is sharing your speical day, you are also picking a personal gift for someone special to you. Weddings can be exspensive but my choosing a great but cheap groomsman gift you can get an inportant item marked off your list and still stay within your budget.

A friend of mine told me about a wedding website that had fantastic wedding accessories and reception supplies at a great low cost, so we checked it out. She spoke the truth, everything from wedding invitations to exquisite little thank you gifts for the guests that could save us quite a bit. I was surprised at all the great gifts they carry, as well as so many styles of wedding accessories for both ceremonies and receptions. Needless to say, that’s where I did all my shopping for the wedding decorations and supplies.

First of all, we decided to have a winter wonderland theme wedding since we were getting married in December, and I found so much to work with. I ordered very decorative winter wedding bulletins to send out as invitations. While I was browsing through the flower basket and ring pillow selection, I discovered a great deal on a five piece set with a wedding guest book and pen, wedding garter and the flower girl basket and ring pillow. All the pieces matched and I was really surprised at the total cost of the set, it was so much lower than I would expect. I was reading up on wedding ceremonies and that since throwing petals as the bride and groom leave the church may not be exceptable in many churches and couples are substituting bubbles in place of petals. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You’d be surprised at the marvelous accessories I bought from there. We also ordered our gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl, ring boy and the rest of the wedding party. There were so many wonderful gift ideas for a winter wedding to give to our guests. As thank you gifts, I chose glass votive candles with a frosty winter theme, for all of our guests. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
I also bought place card holders that look like snowy tree ornaments that can be used as an extra little favor for our guests. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. Our topper was of a bride and groom skiing and I had the top layer of our cake made into a mountain of snow for the happy couple to placed upon. Our wedding cake was confection perfection and I wanted as many pictures of it as I could get for our beautiful winter wedding album. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. With all eyes on us as we danced, I felt as magical as a princess in a fairy tale.

The rest of the reception was just as perfect as the beginning, and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Many of the guests at the reception commented on how lovely the winter wedding reception was and how much they appreciated the lovely wedding favors.

Does Growth-RX Really Work?

May 15th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

I remember being a astonishing young man, around twenty or so, and being good-looking and confident, and I was laying around one day trying to remember how that felt. I had a lean body, and I loved to work out. I’m not going to say that I was a supermodel or anything, but women definitely used to check me out when I walked by, and I got my share of girlfriends back then. It was always an ego boost for me because I would be lifting at the health club or swimming in the water and have my heart pumping really hard, and the women who walked by would always give me a smile and I knew that they liked what they saw.
When I saw myself in the mirror, I knew that I didn’t have it anymore, even though I don’t consider it to be all that long ago when I was in top shape. I felt like all I ever did in my free time was sit on the sofa, and no one was checking me out there, that’s for sure. When it dawned on me that I didn’t even want women to see how unfit I was now, that’s when I started to really feel uneasy about it all. It was like I was in a Twilight Zone episode where it was the same me, but I had gotten transported into a different body.
He said the product was called Growth RX, and he suggested that I Google Growth RX reviews. There was no question that his physique had gotten better over the last few weeks, so I asked him if this was his secret, and he said that it was. It was common sense to go look into it.
What a great decision that turned out to be. I look over Growth-Rx thoroughly. The testimonials were quite impressive, and that made me check out the ingredients, too. It turns out that the product is all-natural, which is a big selling point for me because I am very conscious of what I put in my body. When I saw that it offered higher energy and quicker healing of muscles after a work out, I opted to give it a shot; I had already seen that it would define muscles and reduce fat by looking at my friend’s body.
It really had an awesome impact on me. This is the smallest pants size I’ve worn in a long, long time. The muscles in my arms and legs quickly became more defined. I don’t know if it was because of how the product aided recovery times, or if it was the fact that my energy level was so high, but I could work out a lot harder than I had been before. Whatever the case, that dream of getting back to the body I had in my twenties was becoming less of an unattainable fantasy and more of a reality every single day. It was great to know that my body was being taken care of, and that definitely had a positive impact on me psychologically as well.
As you can imagine, when I caught a much younger woman in her prime checking me out from head to toe at the grocery store recently, I felt like I was back on top of the world. I just smiled to myself and let her look. She wasn’t going to be the only girl getting an eyeful of me now that I was unlocking my physical potential with Growth Rx. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with sitting on the sofa and taking it easy; I’m just glad that I won’t be doing it by myself anymore.

An AMAZING selection of cotton handkerchiefs!

May 15th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

I was never married before and this is my first marriage, I wanted to plan the best wedding shower ever. I knew I needed help, so I asked my sister if she wanted to help me. My sister agreed to help me and was excited about it. Planning a wedding shower is time consuming, but I couldn’t wait to start planning it. I always was good at planning showers, so I knew I could make this wedding shower a success. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found a hall close by my home. We started looking on the web for decorations and gifts. We saw so many themed wedding shower ideas that were cute. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. It was time to find the shower favors. There was a lot to look at. This took some time to figure which one I wanted because they had so many to choose from. When I came across a astonishing handkerchief, I knew that is what I wanted my guests to get as a gift. I also thought that I could get one for me on my wedding day. I seen a remarkable dress handkerchief that was so beautiful. I was so sure that all my guests would fall in love with the men’s handkerchiefs. I decided to go with a lace handkerchief as a wedding favor for all my guests.
All my plans we going well. We had the hall and ordered all the decorations, gifts and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. I was going to have it catered, but it was way too expensive for my budget. While looking through my recipes, I came across some of the best dishes, that I know me and my sister could prepare. We placed the order for the cake at a bakery near us. All the planning was finished. I picked out these gorgeous invitations and mailed them. Now it was a waiting game, waiting for the day of the shower.
It was the day of the shower and I and my sister went to the hall early to set the tables and decorate. It did not take long to decorate the hall. When we were finished decorating, the hall looked so good. I made sure that I took a picture to remember how great it looked. The tables each had a centerpiece on it and the cake was put on the same table where we but the food. We put a cotton handkerchief at each setting. The minute you saw the room, you would say how beautiful it looked.
I had such a good time with my family and friends after they arrived. We all enjoyed each other’s company. We had fun playing games and eating. I heard throughout the shower that my guests liked receiving the handkerchief as a gift. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. It made me sad when the shower was ending, because I really enjoyed myself and my guests did to.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. It made me glad that I chose a handkerchief for my wedding favor. My special day turned out and will be remembered forever. I am so glad that my sister was there to plan the shower with me. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this.|It made me feel good that she was by my side through this.|She really touched my heart during this.[/spin] That is the reason she is my maid of honor.

Loving My Heart Favors!

May 15th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

The couple picked out a astonishing heart wedding for their choice of décor, and what they did with it was spectacular. Everything that had anything to do with the wedding had a heart design, the invites and gifts and everything. The remarkable hearts favors were really exquisite with two silver hearts printed on the front with all the necessary information on where, who and when printed inside. They were really quite beautiful. They picked out very elegant candle holders for the unity and tapered candles, and of course there were two small hearts dangling from the unity candle. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. The tulle was strung from pew to pew, with little hearts on the pews as well. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. I have to admit it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride was simply stunning.
The décor of the reception included a plethora of hearts and flowers. White roses, and some red ones, were placed in the middle of each table, and the place cards were put in holders designed around a silver hearts wedding. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. She did an awesome job of designing the place settings at the reception. They had their names and the date of the wedding inscribed on the wine glasses, and the champagne flutes were crystal. For the bride and groom, there were a couple of very richly adorned champagne glasses. They were double hearts wedding flutes, with the two silver hearts linked together, just like on the hearts wedding invitation they sent me.
They had a five-layer hearts wedding cake that was really yummy. The cake was a dream for both the eyes and the stomach. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. They were really very unique, I’ve never seen a wedding cake topper quite like this one. She said she bought it at a wedding website where she got all of her accessories and reception supplies. They apparently do customizing on wedding toppers, and all she had to do was send in photos of her and her fiance and they made the special cake topper couple. I’m sure they’ll treasure that forever.
In the end, we gave a hearts wedding to all of the guests. We got coffee in a bride or groom styled package, along with a heart shaped coffee scooper, and then we also got very pretty votive candle holders. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Come to think of it, their entire wedding day was filled with sharp ideas they had. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. In my opinion, the wedding cake topper took the cake, so to speak. It would be great if they did that for birthdays and other ocassions too. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. I’m sure the bride and groom are having a great week in Mexico too. When they get back home, I’m anxious to look through their pictures with them, and hear about all the fantastic things we saw and did in Mexico. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.

A Super-Cute Baby Shower Duck Favor!

May 15th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

When I picked the theme for the baby shower, I couldn’t help but think of Ernie on Sesame Street and his favorite bathtub song of ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One.’ It seemed like a longshot, but I checked to see if there were any duck baby shower available anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. They are really so cute and it was a lot better than I thought it would be with all the online shopping help I got for ideas. You can  get a ton of different duck favors online, not just for showers but for birthday parties for younger kids as well.
I was holding the shower in my rec room in the basement so I had plenty of room to set up indivdual tables to seat four guests at each. I got a yellow ducky cake with a couple of layers, the bottom one of which said baby girl in red frosting, and then I put that next to plates, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and other deserts; on a table on the other side of the room, I put all of the baby shower presents. There were posters of Donald and Daisy Duck, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and the rest of the Disney cast all over the place, and the Daisy Duck one was huge.
The place card holders I bought and put out at the shower were miniature pink picture frames that had a little ducky in each of the corners. There were duck favor candles at each table too and on the buffet table were paper plates, cups and napkins all with little baby ducks on them and even the punch bowl was unique. I went to a department store and purchased a little duck shaped baby bathtub and placed a glass punch bowl inside. It was really kind of cute. I also bought duck molds and filled them with yellow colored water for duck shaped ice cubes. I went all out on this duck themed shower.
Other than a few things that people at school suggested to me, I borrowed most of my ideas from things I saw online. I got a astonshing  baby shower duck favor that was a candle holder, and some duck shower favors that were rubber ducky bookmarks. Everyone thought they were so cute and they made super party gifts for the games we played too.
I filled a square tub with water and, prior to any guests arriving, I put a bunch of duck bath toys in it. On the bottom of the ducks I wrote numbers and as the guests arrived they each had to pick a duck out of the little pond. We gave out a prize for the person who had the winning number, which I pulled out of a hat a bit later during the shower. We had a lot of fun with the guess the baby picture game, too. The guests were told in advance to take a baby picture of theirs to the shower with them, and then we put them all on a board and put the board in the front of the room. Everyone looked over the photos and tried to figure out which picture belonged to which person who was present at the shower. The winner was the person who guessed right on the most of them, and they were awarded a shower favor.
We had a lot of fun, great laughs and the mother to be got some really neat gifts for her little girl. I’m very happy with the amount of help I got from going on the Internet. I pulled off one heck of a baby shower, even though it seemed pretty far-fetched at first. The duck theme really was a cute idea.

A Beautiful Ceramic Favor!

May 15th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

There is a lot to planning a wedding and reception, but the one thing that seems to take the longest to decide, is what to get your guests as thank you gifts. There is choices like practical gifts that they can use at home, crystal gifts or maybe even a astonshing ceramic wedding favors figurines. Whatever your preference, I found out there are an awful lot of each to choose from.
I’m planning a themed wedding in a country western motif, and I’ve found quite a few exceptional ceramic favors to work with. Favors made of ceramic are perfect for any wedding you want to have. Like the little tea caddys that I ran across online with nice black ceramic wedding trays to place them on. There are plenty of suggestions from candle holders to gorgeous tea lights and even flower vases as ceramic wedding gifts. I made wedding favor shopping the last thing on my to do list, because not only is it hard to choose the right gift, but there is just so much to choose from.
So, my tables were first on my list to be accessorized. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. The little barbecue grills I picked out as place card holders were so cute, and I thought they would make adorable little souvenirs of our reception for our friends and family to keep. Since we were having a family cookout instead of having our party catered, I thought the little grills were a nice added touch. There were also little cowboy hats at each place setting and cowboy boot glasses for the refreshments. As ceramic wedding favors, I chose the pretty ceramic honey pots with heart shaped handles instead of the tea caddies for our friends and family. They were the perfect choice for our country western reception and they looked so cute. There were also astonshing candle holders that would have made a terrific ceramic favor for our guests, and I almost decided on that. Our tables looked fantastic and with all the surrounding décor accessories, it looked like the perfect down home celebration.
We had little twinkle white lights hanging all around the dance area, and piles of haystacks scattered about. Talk about a western themed wedding cake topper, ours was one of a cowgirl hog tying her groom and probably taking him to the preacher. Everyone seemed to get a lot of laughs out of our cake topper and we thought it was quite amusing too. We all had a night to remember, with dancing, partying and lots of great laughs. One of the most creative and enjoyable thing we had going on, was an awesome hayride for everyone, and the kids really got a big kick out of that.
Our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and all the people that cared enough to be in our wedding party received nice little gifts from us too. I bought for the ladies in my wedding party and my fiance chose the guys gifts, which were adorable little ceramic wedding gifts for the girls and really neat looking cowboy steins for the guys. As far as a gift for our ring boy and flower girl, we found adorable little tee shirts that said ‘flower girl’ and ring bearer’on them. Our wedding party and all our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we bought them.
I also bought a few extras for myself, like a sharp little western themed guestbook and pen, picture album and I even ordered a cowboy hat for me and my husband that said bride and groom on them. I thought this would turn out great, but it was way more better than I had imagined, what a super party we had.

Gorgeous photo wedding book!

May 11th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

We go through a lot of days that we’d like to remember forever in our lifetimes. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more ocassions you want to hang on to the memories of. I keep these memories alive with my astonishing memory books, which are some of my most treasured possessions. I have one remarkable photo wedding book devoted to the bridal shower my sister put on for me with some of my friends. It was a fantastic night, and there are plenty of photographs to prove it. The pretty things they had arranged at the party and the exciting places we went to, that evening, were all caught on film. The camera doesn’t lie: we had a blast. We went to a spot where there were male dancers and snapped a few photos there. They were really awesome up there on the stage. That is definitely a night I’ll never forget, that was the first and only time I’ve ever been to a place that had male dancers. They may not be as famous as the Chippendale dancers, but these were more than entertaining, that’s for sure.
I got a wedding memory book along with everything else I was buying when I was preparing for our wedding. We had no shortage of pictures to put in it. In fact I knew to buy a couple of them, so I’d have enough space for all the pictures. Even after filling our wedding photo album with pictures there were still many photos left to find places for. One album had a space for our wedding guests to write their names in it. We had my first initial and my husband’s first initial flanking the initial of our last name on the cover of our personalized memory books. The fabric on the book is very pretty, and with that and the satin ribbon on them, they really are quite charming. We had to get more pages for them, and they offer a supply for that too.
I made sure that I had books to hold all my memories of every important event in my life so far. The number of keepsake memory books I have will only go up since I hang on to them all. Baby shower books, a wedding book, and the one from that bachelorette party are the ones that I have currently. I have a little girl that’s turning three next week and a little baby boy that is only one year old. My son has a blue book and my daughter has a pink one; we got the right colors because we found out what they’d be before they were born. All of their momentous occasions are recorded in there, such as their first steps and baptisms. The baby memory books have pictures, handprints, and birth certificates stored there, too. I also put an invitation in the shower books and wedding photo book too. There are picture galleries with fewer photos than I have in my closet.
In spite of my husband’s frequent grumbling, I will keep those albums in my closet, because they are mementos of days that were special to me. But all that is about to change soon, because I’m clearing a couple of shelves in the family room for all the home movies that I’ll be recording on the new camcorder I just bought. With all the videos I plan to record and all the picture albums and memory books I’ve acquired, not to mention all that I intend to aquire, I’ll probably have to make more room in other closets around the house. Well, a person needs to be able to go back in time every now and then, that’s just a part of who I am. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.

Amazing selection of bride wedding gifts!

May 11th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

You get bride and groom gifts at wedding showers, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties. Such get-togethers present a fun opportunity to give your almost-married friend a unique gift or two. A number of the gifts my husband and I got were rather astonishing. Of course plain old money works just fine, and that’s what our engagement party gifts consisted of for the most part, but there were a lot of more creative presents as well. We were given movie and dinner certificates, a bottle of champagne we could use for our wedding toast, two tickets to a Reds game, that we really enjoyed, and little things like that. Even though you don’t have to bear gifts at an engagement party, many of our friends and family did anyway.
At my husbands bachelor party the guys bought him some cool tee shirts that had things printed on it like, how he survived his bachelor party and one that just said groom on the front. He got more than one bride wedding gift, including some wine bottles and a sun visor that said ‘Groom’ on it. He also got to keep the ball and chain they made him wear all night and an inflatable woman they gave him as gag gifts. The guys had other remarkable bride gifts they gave him, to ad to the merriment of his bachelor party. My girls night out party was fantastic too and I got a lot of gag gifts, but also quite a few nice bride gifts too. They gave me a shimmering white satin purse with a clasp made of crystal on it and a ribbon on top to boot. They put a pin and a shirt inside the bag that I had to wear for our night on the town, and there were some make-up and manicure accessories inside as well. I loved this pillow they gave me which had the word ‘tonight’ embroidered on a side, and then you turned it over and it read ‘not tonight’. It was definitely an unusual and funny throw pillow.
At our wedding reception there were no gag gifts, just very nice bride and groom wedding gifts from all of our friends and family. We got about three toasters, four blenders and lots of waffle irons, but that is to be expected when you have so many people attending your wedding. We filled out a bridal registry and we received a food processor and china from that, along with some other things I had written down. My husband just adored the billards table and bar set that his parents gave us, and I know we will get a lot of use out of that. The plane tickets to get to the Greek Isles for our honeymoon came from my folks. We got a tremendous amount of lovely presents from our friends and relatives, all of whom we adore so much.
They are what helped to make our day so special, just being there to share it with us, meant the world to both of us. We were able to spend our engagement party, wedding, and reception with them, and we are so glad about that. They have always been there for us no matter what, and I’m so glad we have so many wonderful friends and such a devoted family, in our lives. It’s also great to have such wild and crazy friends in the mix to throw you such fantastic girls night out parties and bachelor parties. With friends like that around, your life will be anything but boring. Thank you notes could never begin to express how much we appreciate their love and support.

Elegant Birthday Party Invitation!

May 11th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. The first priority was finding a astonishing graduation party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. I hit the jackpot there. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. It wasn’t a place that remarkable in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and graduation party invitations, too, along with other things.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. I settled on manicure kits for our thank you gifts, and then I got a few more things to be handed out to the winners of the contests that we were going to hold. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Looking online saved me a ton of money and exposed me to a lot of options I, otherwise, wouldn’t have known anything about. I know I got a super deal on the favors and invitations I picked out. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. Naturally, I bought the cards for thank yous over the Intenet as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.

Beautiful mikasa wedding

May 11th, 2009 butcher909 No comments

I went to a wedding a week ago where they had astonishing mikasa crystal accessories on all of the reception tables. They had mikasa wedding favors and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. The bride decorated her whole wedding and all the reception tables with such excellent taste. With all the mikasa accessories she had on the tables, it was a picture of elegance.
The place cards rested on the tails of these very beautiful little silver doves. Her centerpieces were quite lovely too and really helped to bring out the ambience of all the accessories she had decorated the tables with. The exquisite pillar candles she had for her centerpieces were so lovely with the floral ring around them. They gave out fantastic party favors for everyone at the reception. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. The favors boxes with the little thank you hang tags was almost as gorgeous as the mikasa crystal favors that were inside.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. The bride and groom on the cake topper look just like the wedding couple and they did this with only a couple head shot photos of the bride to be and her fiance. It looked just like them. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
I think one of the funniest part of this whole thing was when it was time for the garter toss. Watching the looks on the guys faces as the groom removed the garter from the brides leg, was priceless. All of them were reaching and pushing into each other with the sole objective of being the one to take home the brides garter. One guy didn’t want to be in the garter toss contest, but the other guys persuaded him to do so, and this sweet little widower in his 70’s walked away with the lace garter. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the toast it was time for the bride and groom to take their place on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. Hawaii was the honeymoon destination, from what I was told by one of the guests. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
A couple of weeks later, I received a thank you note from the bride and groom for the wedding gift and for attending. She must have sent out her thank you cards as soon as she got back from her honeymoon. By the way, I did find out how she could afford a remarkable mikasa wedding favor and that fantastic cake topper. I’m ordering what I need for my parents anniversary wedding party today.
